Every day people slow walked the IGas lorries in and out of the drilling site at Barton Moss, contending with heavy handed policing by Greater Manchester Police and a mainstream media portraying them as some kind of ‘professional protesters.’ The local community weren’t put off, their experience of this merely strengthened their resolve.
